In a resort that has been criticised for too much “modern construction”, it’s nice to see a new (ish) hotel with a great location that local architects must be proud of! The Tanne is a great four star which has been crafted to look well over 150 years old whilst at the same time having all the facilities you would expect from a good modern hotel operation.

The Premier Luxury Mountain Resort is located just outside the centre thriving Bansko and considering the short distance from the Gondola Station (5 min walk – 2 mins by courtesy transfer bus) it feels like you could be miles away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of this busy resort.

The resort has just been awarded Luxury Small Hotels of the World status which speaks volumes about what you can expect as a guest at the Premier; Luxury, service and attention to detail by the bucket load!

Matsurev Han Inn is located just off Pirin Street in Bansko as you walk away from the mountain to the centre of the old town.

Not only does Matsurev Han offer excellent food but also excellent value accommodation in the old house or the newly renovated apartments next door.

The Dedo Pene Inn in the very centre of the old town offers fabulous authentic accommodation and food in the oldest Mehana in the area!

The hotel offers pretty basic (but very clean and modern) accommodation. Located right in the heart of Old Bansko on Pirin Street, you can't get much more central... or better value for money!

One of our favorites is the Kandahar complex that even has it's own creche and is above the very popular chill out bar/diner that is Harry's Bar. Ideal for families with young children.

Those wanting five-star treatment will find the Kempinski Grand Arena (the only true five-star hotel in Bansko) more than suitable.

The Elegant Lux and Elegant Spa hotels are located a stones throw away from each other in the center of “new” Bansko which means you are less than a five minute walk to the gondola cabins.

Sofia's favourite Irish pub is now in Bansko and offers rooms and apartments above the pub!

Bansko Royal Towers offers one of the best locations of any hotel in Bansko. It is situated directly across the river (linked by a short bridge) from the gondola station which means you can be heading up the lift within only a couple of minutes of leaving your spacious apartment.

This is an excellent four star apart hotel in a very quiet street so peace and relaxation are guaranteed by Daniel (a native Londoner) and his family who run the hotel and all it’s facilities themselves.

The Vihren Palace is one of Bansko's best hotels.

Located just over the road from the gondola car park you will find it hard to get much closer to the lifts.

This stunningly designed apart-hotel is located less then four minutes from the Gondola station and is really something!
