The Black Cat around the corner has a huge open restaurant and one of the best selections of good local wine and some of the finest local dishes in resort!

Strong on service, this place is an essential part of your culinary tour of Borovets and should not be missed!

Eagle Rock Café and Bistro is located in the pretty little village of Beli Iskar which is just a short drive down the road from Borovets. It’s sits below the apartment complex of the same name which offers a really good value alternative to accommodation options in Borovets. The restaurant itself is run by Naomi from the UK who has lived in the area for several years. This is her fourth year running the Eagle Rock Restaurant.

Kharma is a relaxed and friendly restaurant come bar which is found directly opposite the Rila Hotel on the main ski-in to Borovets Village.

With one of the main bunny-hill drags outside the front door and the four man quad a stones throw past that, Kharma is great at any time of the day or night!

Those looking for a more “chilled-out” night should head for 'The Blue' bar just around the corner from the main street of Borovets.

With its combination of funky decor and laid back atmosphere it caters to families and anyone else looking to just...relax!

Franko's is probably one of the best places to eat in the whole of Borovets. And it gets busy too so book ahead!

The chef is famous for his pizzas and the rest of the menu looks more like a good Pub menu than a typical Bulgarian restaurant!

Try the stake and ale pie... it's awesome!

One great “kid-friendly” eatery can be found opposite the gondola station run by Eva and family . They serve serve a nice mix of good quality local and international cuisine at very good prices!

The Alpin Pub (below the Alpin Hotel) does a good attempt at an Irish pub but the menu is “internationally diverse” to say the least and has a good go at just about every national dish, including a good roast beef and Yorkshire pudding!

BJ's (previously the home of Revolution) has a great location right opposite the gondola station. They do a very good breakfast and have a varied menu with good selection of light bites for when you get off the hill.

Great Bulgarian dishes can be found at the Katina BBQ and steakhouse on Main Street.

In particular their "satche", a traditional dish with pork and chicken served on a sizzling skillet can be recommended and they have a good selection of local wines too.

The Happy Duck is a good place for a beer, boogie (DJ party and live music every night) and also does great food.

Usual range of great steaks, pasta and pizza as well as a good selection of domestic and imported beers make this a great choice for a fantastic night out!

It's a pretty small menu but has a good array of burgers, pizza's and other apres ski bites all at good prices! Hang around after dark for a stonking night out too!

It's a charming little place with a well priced food and drink and they do a good line in breakfasts to start your day as well as a wide variety of pizza (cooked outside in their wood burning oven) and traditional Bulgarian dishes such as Kavarma (Very, very good!) to end your day on.

The Black Tiger Karaoke Pub is a great place right on the slopes opposite the Rila Hotel.

It's been there for years which is why it is a perennial favourite of regular dinners in Borovets. Good fast food such as burger and pizzas during the day mean it is always busy at lunch time with skiers who are able to ski straight onto the sun deck at the back of the place before they catch the lift straight back up the hill.
