Pamporovo, being nestled in the heart of the Rhodoppi Mountains is no different and the regions own unique style cannot (and should not) be over looked by visitors.

Pamporovo is blessed with a number of exceptional traditional Bulgarian mehanas (taverns) which are about as authentic as they get. They tend to be cozy, heated by open fire and most have their own band of "rebels" ready to serenade you whilst you eat.

You cannot come to Pamporovo without fully immersing yourself in the local food!
