Where to stay

Although there are a few modern options close to the ski station itself, we recommend heading down the road to Sepereva Banya itself where there is more choice in eating, drinking and sleeping.

The local municipality is committed to making the town a tourist center and much information can be found from the centrally located tourist office regarding hotel options which range from modern three star complexes to smaller (and quaint) family run guest houses.

As Sapereva Banya is a spa town, most of the better hotels in town offer guests free use of their own thermal spa pools to relax in after a hard day on the hill and as the water is the hottest to come out of the ground in Bulgaria this must be an influencing factor as to where to stay in Sapereva Banya.

Very highly recommended!

Green King Rooms

Is this the best value accomodation option in a major Bulgarian ski resort this year?!

Above the Green King Restaurant in the centre of Borovets (right opposite the Gondola Station) you will find some of the best value accommodation in resort! If you are looking to save money on your ski trip this year, we strongly suggest you consider this as an option as prices start from as little as €10 per person, per night!

Eagle Rock Apartments (Beli Iskar)

Great value accommodation with peace and nature all around!

Although outside of Borovets itself, The Eagle Rock Resort is worth noting for it's location as it is only a stones throw from the quieter (and cheaper) slopes of Goverdatsi, Malyovitsa and Panichiste as well as being home to the Eagle Rock Restaurant.

Accomodation is high quality and good value. This is a seriously good option for those with families that don't necessarily want to be right in the centre of a busy (and often noisey) resort such as Borovets.

The Castle (Samokov) ***

The Castle Hotel and Restaurant offers outstanding value for money at only 25 Lev per person per night.

OK, it's not in the center of Borovets but what you do get included in the price is a free shuttle service up and down (only 10 minutes anyway) and also free ski hire. So this has to be the best option for those on a budget.

Hotel Forest Star **

Don't let the two stars fool you! Awesome value for money and right on the ski slopes with a great restaurant!

Have been visiting Borovets for about thirteen years but never before knew of the little gem that is Forest Star (Горска Звезда)! Located on one of the main runs coming into the center of the village just next to the chairlift, Forest Star is a genuine ski-in/ski-out hotel with a cracking little restaurant as well!

Club Hotel Yanakiev ****

A newly built four-star hotel with great spa facilities right at the bottom of one of the central runs back into the village and less than five minutes from the center.

Hotel Yastrabets *****

Only one way to describe this hotel... pure luxury!

A proper "ski-in-ski-out" hotel, this has it all and you pay for it, but by God it's worth it!
