112km away from Sofia and 25km away from Vrasta, a very pretty little town, is the small ski station of Parshevitsa.
Like many Bulgarian ski stations it won’t keep the adrenalin junkies happy for too long but Vrasta is used as a base camp all year round for other “extreme” activities and boasts more than 70 alpine climbing routes and hundreds of trails to the many caves in the cliffs and mountains surrounding the town.
Back to the skiing, like many of these smaller stations, Parshevitsa is only really for beginners of if you are coming in a group looking for good value and to make your own fun.
Prices are seriously cheap for everything from accommodation to lift passes so is really worth considering if on a budget.
Parshevitsa is another small but cheap ski station with wide open runs that is perfect for families or those that are learning to ski or snowboard in Bulgaria on a budget.
